Muhkametshin Rustam Glusovich

Rustam was born in 1964 and attended sambo wrestling classes under the guidance of Valeriy Oshepkov. He graduated from Perm State University - he’s a historian by speciality. In 1990 he began his training career in the sambo wrestling school where he started applying new approaches and working out his own training methods.
The best pupils of Rustam Muhkametshin are the winners and medallists of championships of the highest rank: Elena Gileva – the Master of Sports of International Class, twice-repeated winner of the Europe Championship, twice-repeated medallist of the World championship; Elena Kamenskihk – the Master of Sports, repeated prize-winner of the World and Europe Championships, the winner of Russia Championship; Maria Molchanova – the Master of Sports Candidate, the winner of the World and Russia Championships in 2005; Vladimir Kozhinov, Andrey Zelenin, Sergey Volchkov – repeated prize-winners of Russia Championship.
For successes in training sportsmen in 2003 Rustam Muhkametshin was given the status of the merited trainer of Russia. At the moment he’s the leading trainer of the women team in Perm region. He’s successfully training boys and girls. He combines training work with judging – he judges the competitions of high rank being the judge of international category. For his great contribution to sambo wrestling development he was awarded with many diplomas of Krasnokamsk and Perm region committees. He’s got the second higher education, he’s married and has two children.
